Gran Feudo Reserva 2011
D.O.P » Navarra
Vintage Characteristics » A dry Winter and spring limited the vegetative growth of the vines and with it, the size of the grapes. The ripening period was marked by many hot, sunny days that favored the synthesis of sugar, accumulation of color, rapid breakdown of acids and high concentration in the grapes, all of which favored the production of potent and structured wines.
Vinification » The selection of grapes on the vine and a mechanized harvest ensured that the grapes reached the winery quickly. Each variety was fermented separately at a controlled temperatura of 28-29ºC during 12 days. Aging commenced immediately after malolactic fermentation and the wine remained in oak barrels, after which it was bottle aged to complete and round out this wine.
