Gran Feudo Crianza 2013 has been awarded a GOLD MEDAL in the Berliner Wein Trophy Summer. This contest, which has been held for 21 years, has had the participation of over 5,300 wines.

These awards are sponsored by the International Organization of Vine and Wine and award those wines with nuances that are worth discovering. The Berliner Wein Trophy Summer has become the largest and most important international wine tasting in Germany.

Gran Feudo Crianza 2013 has been elaborated with grapes coming from the areas of the Ribera, Middle and Low Mountain of Navarre. They are grown in medium depth soils without drainage problems that facilitate the growth of a vineyard with medium-high vigor, without problems of lack and nutrition.

Made with 60% Tempranillo, 10% Grenache, 15% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, to obtain a first selection of the grape in the vineyard with a later harvest and processing each variety separately in storage at a temperature between 26º-28º for 10 days until the end of the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Trasiego to barrel and later, clarifies, stabilizes and bottled. The wine has remained for at least 12 months in American oak barrels.

It has a cherry red color, bright, medium-high layer. The aroma is intense and expressive, with notes of black fruits and light toasted nuances and on the palate the entrance is soft and fresh, with a long and pleasant finish. Ideal to accompany stews, all kinds of meats and cheeses. (PVP 9 €)
