WINES FOR THE YOUNGEST 11 JUL. 2017

Following the success of Baluarte Roble, Bodegas Gran Feudo's oenological team opted to expand a range of wines that was born to attract the attention of younger consumers.
The range of BALUARTE wines have been designed as the beginning, the starting point. They are wines designed to start in the world of wine and are born to attract young consumers.
The idea has been to make wines based on three basic points: an attractive image, a pleasant palate and a simple elaboration, elements that give these wines a personality according to the new tastes.
BALUARTE is a line of fresh wines, of enjoyment, where the protagonists are the varieties and their aromas.

Baluarte Verdejo 2016. Under the D.O. Rueda is born this new reference that is based on the Verdejo variety. It is straw yellow with a greenish rim, and it is powerful and clear in the nose, where the aromas of tropical fruits such as pineapple, grapefruit or passion fruit appear, with nuances of green fruits and the characteristic vegetal notes of the variety. Fresh, fatty, with volume and great balance in the mouth, it is ideal to enjoy with fish, foie, cheeses, vegetables, white meats, pastas and rice. Its consumption temperature is between 8 and 10ºC. Baluarte Muscat 2016. The Muscat variety is the protagonist of this wine of the D.O. Navarra, which shows a straw-yellow color, very bright and clean. It is very intense, fine, with aromas of fruit of bone - like peach -, and citrus, besides a deep floral background. It is very fresh in the mouth, with a wide and persistent entrance. It will harmonize perfectly with salads, cream cheese, grilled or steamed fish, pasta and poultry. It is recommended to take it between 8 -10º C. (RRP: € 8)

Baluarte Rosé 2016 of the D.O. Navarra, is made with grapes of the Garnacha variety. It has a vivid, bright pink color, and on the nose is elegant, good intensity with notes of fresh fruit. Balanced, fresh in its passage by mouth and with a good finish. Perfect as an appetizer, cold dishes such as white asparagus, seafood salpicón, veal carpaccio or risottos. It is recommended to enjoy it between 8-10º C. (PVP 8 €)

Baluarte Roble 2016 of the D.O. Navarra and made with Tempranillo grape and aged three months in American oak barrels, shows a cherry red color, clean and bright. In the mouth it is fresh, intense, and predominates the red fruit and notes to fine wood. Soft, velvety, pleasant, with a long and very fruity finish. Very good with all kinds of meats, fish, also river, upholstered. Its temperature of consumption around 16ºC. (PVP: € 6)

Baluarte Roble 2015 of O.D. Ribera del Duero. The protagonist is also the Tempranillo variety, which, after four months in French and American oak barrels, shows a cherry color with violet fringes, ripe black fruit, jam, plum, spicy notes and light nuances of aging. Tasty, wide, fresh, pleasant pace of mouth. To enjoy it with red meats, game, roasts, poultry, white meats, charcuterie, cured cheeses. It is recommended to take it around 16ºC. (PVP 10 €)
